Once in a while, I delve into the iMovie form to express myself.  The first video story on this list, "I'll Always Have Chennai," was shared a lot around the world by those who have fond memories of Chennai. I made this vignette when my father was alive. I would wager that most of us associate a place with our parents. For me, that place will always be Chennai.  If you enjoyed these video tales, do write to me.

In December 2012, I was invited to anchor six videos for The Hindu during festival season in Chennai, India. The first five interviews of Carnatic musicians explored the fuss and fanfare over perfect attire during the city's month-long music and dance festival. The sixth was an interview of a talented male dancer in the Bharatanatyam tradition. Aniruddhan Vasudevan talked about coming out in Chennai's conservative milieu; he addressed depression and fear in the gay community. The staff at The Hindu decided to err on the side of caution; they snipped many portions of what I believed to be a useful, candid and timely exchange of ideas.
